What can we learn from our ancestors about how to optimize and improve human health? Are some of our modern chronic diseases created by the mismatch between the conditions in which humans evolved and our present agriculture and technology rich world? In this podcast, Michael Ostrolenk explores these questions (and more!) with the co-founders of the
Ancestral Health Society (AHS),
Aaron Blaisdell, Ph.D. &
Brent Pottenger, MHA. Learn more about this growing grassroots movement investigating the science-based solutions found in our human history – and watch video presentations from the recent AHS symposium – at

Starting off years ago with Atkins I discovered I was allergic to wheat. I then found Dr.Jack Kruse and started watching all these videos.
I have numerous health issues, insulin resistance ,infections and hypothyroidism being a few.
I am converting to Paleo/ Primal lifestyle and hoping to not only lose weight but to get healthy.
This movement has changed my life and way of thinking.
I’m passing tweets and links to my doctors and they are VERY interested in seeing how this goes!
Excellent interview. The Paleo position will become far more strengthened with inclusion of exercise physiology and physical culture. Key to genetic signalling for sequencing of healthy protein is physical activity, exercise. Sedentariness promotes signalling of sequencing of unhealthy proteins. In that respect, diet is a necessary yet not sufficient condition leading to genomic expression of health.
Discussion of harmful electro magnetic pollution is spot on. A wider discussion incorporating the biological field of energy medicine will bring wisdom concerning emf that heals.

I have been recommending the Paleo Diet and especially Robb Wolfs book to my patients with metabolic syndrome and those who want to become healthier.
